NetClan is a versatile social networking app designed for seamless communication and connectivity. Users can enjoy features like chat, audio-video calls, and effortless data sharing, including files and media. Additionally, Netclan offers a range of hyperlocal services, including dating, matrimonial, buy-sell-rent, and job listings. Optional networking services such as posting user content, sharing media, online business card exchanges, hyperlocal group formation, and self-notes enhance the user experience, making Netclan a comprehensive platform for digital interaction and connection.
Challenges
The main goal of this assignment was to redesign 3 to 5 key pages of the Netclan mobile app. The challenge was to improve the user experience and visual appeal while keeping the app’s core features intact. I needed to balance functionality, aesthetics, and usability to create a fresh and engaging design that aligned with the app’s purpose.
Solution
To tackle this challenge, I focused on enhancing the layout and visual elements to make the app more user-friendly and intuitive. I reorganized key sections for better navigation and prioritized important features to ensure users could easily access them. I used a clean, modern design with a consistent color scheme and easy-to-read typography to improve the overall look and feel. Additionally, I made sure the app was responsive and accessible, ensuring a smooth experience across different devices. My goal was to create a design that felt fresh but still aligned with Netclan's original purpose.
